Dr Pam Dyson, PhD RD

Research Dietitian, Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism
Pam Dyson has been involved with the nutritional management of diabetes and obesity for over 30 years. Her main interests are diabetes prevention, gestational diabetes, and behavioural aspects of lifestyle change and weight management. She has a particular interest in establishing the evidence base for dietary strategies for diabetes management, and co-chaired the Diabetes UK Nutrition Working Group which was responsible for revising, up-dating and publishing the 2018 nutrition guidelines for the prevention and treatment of diabetes.
